Attendees: Josh Triplett, Jon Bauman, Santiago, Jubilee, Nadri, Tim M, TC
## Agenda
- How are interviews going?
- Feedback on interview protocol? (Questions, procedures, technological hurdles...)
Tim: I'd like to use `cal.com` -- I service I've paid for -- for scheduling the interviews. It'll help us round-robin this, and will send out the invites.
## Script that Tim's been using

## What were your motivations for participating in the Rust Vision Doc process
## Do you remember what attracted you to Rust?
## Is there anything that you would like to ensure is covered in this discussion?
## Do you find Rust easy to advocate for?
## Do you find yourself apologising for Rust's deficiencies?
## Are there areas where you find rust compelling?
## Any areas where you find Rust lacking?
## A future Rust might be very different in the future, or it might be very differnt. How do you think that the project should weight stability vs novelty/exploration?
## Rust was first annouced as a "systems programming" language, then the project changed the language to recognise its broader appeal. Should the Rust project specialise for a particular set of domains?
# Other points raised
:::info
A space for anything else that's raised in the conversation
:::
# Post-interview checklist
- [ ] Does anything need to be redacted?
- [ ] Copy of recording/transcript sent to interviewee?
- [ ] Would you like to have the recording stored as a historic record? The default is to delete it.
- [ ] Reference team GitHub and Zulip for follow-up
```
## is the script good?
- should we be adding some more reassurances?
- should we drop the 1-to-5 question?
- should we do questions in a different order?
## are we interviewing the right people?
- do we need minimum coverage of certain groups/domains?
## rustweek?
- rough cut?
- stats at least? jack has a Jupyter Notebook...
