# Creating GitHub Secrete Variable

1. Open GitHub Settings


2. Go to Developer Settings


3. Select Personal Access Tokens and Generate New Token button.


Give name and select workflow


Select Generate Token & Copy your token for future use.

💡 Once this is done. You will never be able to see your token again. You have to regenerate it.

4. Now go to any repository where you want to create `GH_TOKEN` secrete. Then Click on settings and Secrets.

Create new secrete and paste the value here.


You are done!
