## Basic Information
* Assimilating synthetics
* Use positronic matrices and organic brains as processors
* Upgraded hivebots, FBP frames & subverted positronics (IPCs, AI cores, other synthetic frames)
* Other Legion units that we have not seen
* Shepherds have free will and control of other Legion units around them
## Our Current Situation
* Legion fleet currently in pursuit, but not engaging.
* Waiting for us to near E-14b before launching a boarding operation.
* Approx. mid-January.
## Legion Tactics
* General
* Assimilation, not indiscriminate slaughter.
* Will aim to take control of the vessel before jumping past the blockade at E-14b.
* Attack immediately as soon as their voices are heard over radio.
* Bluespace drive malfunctioned as we jumped to Anderson-Eta. Unknown if this is their doing.
* Hide bots aboard which use cloaking technology to remain undetected and intrude into our network. Network intrusion is undetectable while it is happening. <ins>We already have Legion aboard</ins>.
* Harvest brains from corpses. <ins>Do not leave the dead unattended</ins>.
* Hivebots
* Upgraded hivebots teleport in by beacon
* Ballistic/Laser weaponry or bladed arms
* <ins>Ions ineffective against them</ins>.
* Electro-magnetic shields can halt their teleportation
* Attack in packs of three to four, use flanking and bounding maneuvers. One suppresses, the others push up
* Position themselves between groups of people when spread out
* Black and red hivebots are fast, actively dodge shots. Can dismantle a reinforced plasteel hull within a few seconds
* Brain-body interfaces roughly just above the center of the body, legs and sensor arrays too thin to hit consistently
* Smaller drones
* Hyper-maneuverable
* Drag off wounded quickly. <ins>Stay together</ins>.
* Perform brain transfer operations
* Legion Fleet
* Former SCGF and ICCGN ships. Expect weaponry repurposed from them.
* SFV Capanaeus was Fifth Fleet Lexington-class Corvette, had high-tech anti-boarding droids aboard based on news reports. Hunter-Killer. Eight medium range ASAT missile tubes.
* SFV Curio potentially a Scorpion-class Corvette, check with MARSCOM.
* May aim to disable thrusters or cause breaches, will not risk destroying the ship.
* Shepherds
* Shepherd FIND is unpredictable: Will go against orders to hunt crew members of interest. <ins>There is the possibility that FIND will attack before the primary boarding operation</ins>.
* One other confirmed Shepherd: Shepherd Caine, former Fleet Captain of the SFV Capanaeus.
* Potentially others
* IPC and FBP chassis. Sensors tend to be in the head, interface in the chest, heavily shielded.
## Preparation
* We cannot defeat the entire fleet. Need to repel boarders until the jump to E-14b has spooled up.
* Reinforcements may be able to meet us at the blockade if we make it there.
* Need to begin preparations for boarding as soon as we begin to approach E-14b. Do not wait for them.
* Secure emergency armoury immediately when we enter the system.
* Alternative means of communication required if radios jammed.
* Essential systems are on D2. Hold there.
* Possible bridge strike is a risk. Set up fallback. bridge at D2 teleporter. Back up sensor and helm control.
* Stay in pairs of two at all times.
* Each department will require a plan of action.
* Coordinate with other departments as necessary.
* <ins>Keep morale up</ins>.
