# Proposal: DevHub + KYC with I Am Human

## Introduction

DevHub requires KYC checks for every grant and bounty beneficiary.
User KYC certificate can be issued pseudo-anonymously (without KYC details) on blockchian, which will facilitate DAO payouts. With KYC on chain certificate, DAO, can automatically check if a recipient has a required, not expired KYC certificate and facilitate the payout.

I Am Human is a human centric SBT registry for NEAR. We already integrate various verifications mechanisms (community verification, ReFi, Vibes...). We already integrated Fractal for unique human liveness check.

We propose to work on KYC integration which will bring benefits for the whole ecosystem:
+ facilitate payouts for DevHub and other DAOs in the NEAR ecosystem
+ strengthen I Am Human value in the ecosystem
+ provide more integrations
+ allow the whole ecosystem to benefit more user verification / attestations through IAH.

NOTE: IAH is public and having more companies integrating with it will be a great benefit for the whole ecosystem. We already see BOS teams taking an advantage of IAH.

## Proposal

1. Update the Oracle contract to handle more detailed KYC information
1. Define new Fractal classes based on KYC requirements
* class=2 General KYC check
* class=3 Non sanctioned human
1. Map Fractal UIDs with near account using Pikespeak indexer
1. Migrate smart contract to add uid map and facilitate minting more SBTs
1. Update verification oracle to handle more detailed KYC information (eg sanctioned / non sanctioned...)

## Dependencies

Fractal is a for profit enterprise, hence they will require a subsidiary to handle contract.

## Considerations

1. KYC check payments
We propose to move the service cost to the user. This way we minimize the cost risk, and assure sustainability.

2. Expire time
We need to set an expire time for each token (certificate). We propose to set 9months for KYC.
