I was enthusiastic several years ago about the advent of Facebook in Italy, before LinkedIN, then of many other socials, internet utilities, because they would have made it possible to relate with people all over the world, similar interests, exchange knowledge, opportunities, sales, participation in events and debates, direct online communication and so on.
I made almost all the mistakes that could be made, moved by naivety and by the guru of marketing.
I realized first by participating in instagram groups, then facebook, that things were manipulated and we were going to a single mind process, conformism while promoting self-popularity and excluding personalities, ideas; the algorithmic puppet was used as an excuse to justify everything.
I saw the metrics and other tools while ignoring the behavioral psychology induced by the use of certain functions, like, dislike, promoting the narcissism of one's account through the affirmation of one's popularity. There would be many observations, criticisms, I cannot list them here, in any case I was alerted before the famous campaign "**#DeleteFacebook**" started, about 3 years ago. Technicians, experts, had already warned about the usual hacks, data loss, privacy violations, then it started to unravel the aspects of tracking, violated privacy, behavioral recording of individuals and masses, **mass survailence**. This was happening on the web and in mobile apps, but the subject seemed limited to a few digital experts, paranoids, "conspiracy nuts", etc.
Today 2021 the situation is in full revolution, big social monopolies from millions and billions of registered users, **acting as censor** of political theses, not ufficial information, people,channels etc.
Like everyone else I had built something, I had relationships, utilities, that made my subscription to some socialNetwork necessary;
So between the two options, 1) immediate closure of account 2) continue as if nothing had happened, I chose a third way, stripping the profile, deleting past posts, in some cases making it private, not updating, **draining the water where the beast drinks**. Uninstall the official apps from the phone and make them access and entry blocked, install open software, alternatives, or access only via web.
There are alternatives, solutions to this state of affairs, let's not lose heart.
In this moment with the alleged, questionable pandemic they want to move a multitude of services, activities in the digital, it is understood that that set has repercussions in the real, they are not simple realities for hobbyists, nerds or specialists, all this falls on almost all the population.
Blocking access to one's bank account, to a sports club because it is connected to a well-known social network and so on in a chain reaction, should alert everyone to the **equivalence of personal rights in reality as in the virtual one. **
I am not an expert, but I know people who have no difficulty in educating about risks, about security and who are aware that if each individual does not take a stand, the security of the individual will be useless in the face of the insecurity of the majority.
Privacy is a common good, the alternative is the control of all, tracking, slavery. The point of tracking down the criminal individual cannot be the justification for tracking, imprisoning everyone.

Anyway, the purpose of the related files/posts in this folder is to collect links, apps, that promote security, privacy, even if it doesn't exist 100%, we can get greater personal control and defense.
**The intent would be collaborative** (adding information, updates, comments) and testing between users.
In order to be secure, only known and registered users can follow the next, testing, update or upgrade.
We have too much misinformation and criticisms to accept people who do not have constructive, sincere and honest intentions. The project belongs to all participants with these self-defense intentions. I don't have any lust, personal aspiration to put my name and surname or my nick name to the document, who wants can do it, in a section - Sponsor & Participant - .
