# 1.26 SIG Channel Outreach Instructions

You should plan to reach out **during the last week of September (starting 9/25)**. This outreach will serve as a final reminder for each SIG to opt in any more enhancements for the release.

### Steps to follow:

**Step 1:** Take a look at the below SIG assignment to see which SIGs you will be responsible for reaching out to on Slack.

**Ryler:**

sig-architecture

sig-autoscaling

**Atharva:**
sig-cli
sig-cloud-provider
sig-cluster-lifecycle
sig-contributor-experience

**Mark:**
sig-docs
sig-instrumentation

sig-network

**Parul:**
sig-node
sig-release
sig-scalability
sig-scheduling
sig-security

**Ruheena:**
sig-storage
sig-testing
sig-ui
sig-usability
sig-windows

**Step 2:** Go to the [Github Tracking Board](https://github.com/orgs/kubernetes/projects/98/views/1) and see if the SIG has any enhancements on the board by looking at the SIG labels.

**If a SIG has no opted-in enhancements, they are a non-participating SIG.**

**If a SIG has 1 or more enhancements opted in, they are a participating SIG. If they are participating, you'll need to count up the number of enhancements they have opted in for the release, and the number that are `at-risk`**

**Step 3:** Find the SIG channel on Slack and send the following message to the channel depending on whether the SIG is participating or non-participating.

**If the SIG is particpating:**

Hello sig-{{ SIG_NAME }}. Enhancements team here.  Just checking in as we approach enhancements freeze on 18:00 PDT on Thursday 6th October 2022. Your SIG has submitted {{ X }} enhancements for the v1.26 cycle, and {{ Y }} enhancements are currently `At Risk`. Refer to the [announcement here](https://groups.google.com/a/kubernetes.io/g/dev/c/lnxXgZmOOMo) for the list of review requirements. If your SIG still plans to submit any more enhancement, follow the [instructions here](https://groups.google.com/a/kubernetes.io/g/dev/c/lnxXgZmOOMo) so the enhancements team can begin tracking. Please plan to make KEP updates to meet all of the requirements before enhancement freeze. **If the SIG is non-participating:**

Hello sig-{{ SIG_NAME }}. Enhancements team here.  Just checking in as we approach enhancements freeze on 18:00 PDT on Thursday 6th October 2022. Your SIG has not submitted any enhancements for the v1.26 cycle. If your SIG still plans to submit an enhancement, follow the [instructions here](https://groups.google.com/a/kubernetes.io/g/dev/c/lnxXgZmOOMo) so the enhancements team can begin tracking. If your SIG is not planning to submit an enhancement, please reply to this message to confirm.
