# THE DOCTOR'S

#**The Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston)**

It only took a global pandemic/desperation for money/realising that Doctor Who fans aren't awful people for Chris to join Big Finish, after swearing off the show for years. His releases are set pre-Rose (As in, before Series 1 Episode 1) and so it's just him travelling by himself.

|[2.3 Hidden Depths](https://www.bigfinish.com/releases/v/doctor-who-the-ninth-doctor-adventures-hidden-depths-2526)|Three individual stories, featuring the Sea Devil's (Classic monster), and another story featuring Liv and Tania (Big Finish original companions, Liv is a cynical medical technicain from the futurue and Tania is a trans Torchwood agent from the 2020's, and they live together).

But it also heavily ties into Classic Doctor Who, but it gives you enough context that it doesn't quite matter that you haven't seen it. Even so, very enjoyable, and I don't think you'd be too lost.
