2. When prompted, enter "Name" as the name that you want your email to be seen as "From" (ex: "Peter Parker"). Enter "Email address" as the full email address of your new alias (ex: hello@newdomain.com). Uncheck "Treat as an alias". Click "Next Step" to proceed
3. When prompted, enter "SMTP Server" as smtp.forwardemail.net and leave the port as 587. Enter "Username" as the full email address of your new alias (ex: hello@newdomain.com). Enter "Password" pasted from a separate secure message. When prompted for "Password", paste the password (from a separate, secure message). Leave the radio button checked for "Secured connection using TLS". Click "Add Account" to proceed.
4. Open a new tab to Gmail and wait for your verification email to arrive (you will receive a verification code that confirms you are the owner of the email address) Once it arrives, click the link "to confirm your request", then click the button to "Confirm".
5. Once you've done that, go back to Gmail, click the button to Compose a message, and you should see a dropdown menu in the "From" field to choose to send with your new email alias.
