# Attendee Email: T - 5 Dear ApacheCon attendees, ApacheCon New Orleans is just a few days away, and we know some of you will be starting your travel soon, so we wanted to send a few reminders and updates. **Hurricane Ian** The good news for us is that the hurricane will not directly impact New Orleans. However, depending on your travel timing and route, it may affect your arrival. Should your travel be delayed such that you won't be arriving at the hotel on the day of your reservation, please call the hotel (whether it's the Sheraton or any other hotel) and let them know. If you don't, you risk your room being released because you didn't show up. **COVID policy reminder** ApacheCon requires up-to-date vaccinations and masks. Please remember to bring proof of vaccination as well as enough masks for the days you attend the event. See https://www.apachecon.com/acna2022/covid.html for details. **Review the schedule** You can start building your personal schedule now in the Expo Pass app. Check your inbox for the mobile link to get the app, install it, and use to set up your ApacheCon schedule. **Message from Cloudera, a Platinum sponsor** The wait for ApacheCon 2022 is almost over, and we look forward to seeing you there!
