# MetaCartel <> MolochDAO Grant/Sponsorship

### Primary topics to consider for both DAOs
* **Distributed in installments?** SuperFluid flow or other stream?
* Allows both DAOs to continue contemplating the short- & long-term value to each other
* **No mandatory reports** on how the money is spent, but Moloch members will want to know initial intentions. RBG's suggestions:
* Focus on MC as a *curator* of Moloch's grant budget to distribute to the Dapp layer. In "exchange" MC might consult with us on the evolution of this layer on an ongoing, informal basis
* **Uphold Moloch's core values** of privacy, progressive civic disobience (keep it punk) and horizontal governance, Ethereum as the *world computer* and digital public good infrastructure that will lead to realizing material/phsyical public goods, our revitalized interest in retroactive public goods funding, etc.
* MC might contribute to the articulation of these core values! **Integrate the community-first core values of MC** into MolochDAO to bridge the fork. On that note...
* **Delegates at each other's table**
* Representative/delegate MolochDAO members extended shares to MC; delegate MC members extended shares to MolochDAO?
* This could be one delegate with multiple shares or numerous members with smaller/symbollic shares. If the sponsorship is 100eth and dispensed as Moloch shares, we might make an agreement that a certain number of those shares are not RQ for funds
* Perhaps a compensated/incentivized role? Like UberHaus delegates paid in HAUS. A portion of the grant might incentivize (governance) participation in each other's DAO
* **Open-source community**, knowledge, resouces, reciprocity
* Identify what we can share with each other - MC potentially has more to offer Moloch, but the narrative of alignment is good for everyone
* **MolochDAO would greatly benefit from MC consultation** on:
* Working groups, baby/sub-DAO formation, revenue streaming; increase decentralization of RBG and future working groups with current and new tools
* Regenerative treasury management, diversification, budgeting/DAO accounting
* Community outreach, PR/marketing, IRL event coordination
* ♾ etc.!
### Questions
* MolochDAO members will want to know how MC is committed to Eth infrastructure - shouldn't be difficult to define
* A similar issue will arise in grants we are considering to other DAOs and cultural initiatives, ie: MGD. How does MC consider this in their own grant process?
* BTW, how do MC grants work and might the MC process inform the Moloch pipeline?
* Potentially antagonistic relationship with EF members? There are many in MolochDAO
* How does MC envision the long-term importance of MolochDAO? Beyond funding and brand, what does MC desire for Moloch?
* A general need to further articulate the mechanics of this sponsorship: how does MC want MolochDAO to be involved in their own ops, if at all?
* More articulation of this new MC sponsorship funding model, how MolochDAO plays in, and how we might be able to adapt a similar strategy for our own purposes
