This spec is a living document and should be seen as an early stage scope :) Goals The Collective DAO Archives Catalog aims to create the most user-friendly, open-source interface that captures, indexes, and archives a comprehensive list of events and challenges from existing DAOs. Together, as an open source database that anyone can contribute to, we can use the power of collective intelligence to highlight patterns and improve the development of new and existing DAOs.The Catalog will be designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, with clear categorization and search functions that enable easy navigation.(Some inspiration: https://principles.design/) In addition, the platform will be built with flexibility in mind, allowing for the addition of new features as the DAO ecosystem evolves. User Types DAO Builders: The Catalog is intended for contributors or leaders of DAOs who are looking for insights into commonly used practices and roadmaps for building DAOs/orgs. DAO Tooling/Service Providers: The Catalog can also be used by tooling and service providers who need to contextualize the challenges across many DAOs and shed light on unmet needs and opportunities for improvement Contributor Type Technical Maintainers: The Technical Maintainer(s) is a key role for the longterm success of this project. There are two parts of this role. First, the technical maintenance and hosting. Second, the qualitative assessment for PRs being merged.
