# Growth CVC agenda 2023-05-03

We'll cover two scopes this meeting so we can catch up.

## Ecosystem Scope (Support Scope)

How do we find experts for the Advisory Council here, given that Maker Endgame Governance and Ecosystem is so unique? Ofc prose 11 would be terrific, but unsure if he could be available later.

- What requirements do candidates need to fulfill?
- Could we potentially staff that internally?

DAO toolkit questions

- Surfacing information and changes, we urgently need a diff tool to be able to handle incoming proposal accurately. How can we get budget and talent for that? (This is a temporary engagement)
- How can we best represent knowledge? Knowledge gardening, token curated registries, etc.

Budgets and accounting

- Steakhouse is the gold standard for DAO accounting. How can we help them, where do we think they need input and who could provide that?
- Automated flagging of budget deviations and better milestone checking, what best practices or novel ideas come to mind?

Communications structure, and this touches the resiliency scope a bit

- Maker relies heavily on centralised players like Zoom, Discord and Discourse. Temp check for delegates: Would it be feasible to switch? We had recommendations for Element as a Discord replacement, Jitsi as a Zoom replacement, DAOLens or Commonwealth as a Discourse replacement.
- Is this urgent?

Working with ecosystem actors

- Since MIP96, MIP97 (DLOs) never were ratified, where and how do we specify how we can work with EAs? What standard (smart) contracts do we need? Who can write a proposal to that regard and put it up?

## Protocol Scope

Working with PullUp, any experiences here? How can we make sure this anonymous entity is alive and performant?

Priorities for protocol engineers, let's create a list of development targets and put a priority on it. Delegates and facilitators should make sure we're not missing dependencies or top-level targets.
