# Raise / User Research / Customer Interviews
The goal of this user research is to uncover problems and opportunities in the Raise onboarding and Deal Room designs.
User Research will be scheduled between 2 and 4pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week for the next 8 weeks by users. We'll look to do a target of 3 companies/interviews per week, for 12 companies per month. Users will schedule usability tests through Calendly, and will be hosted on Zoom through a community@getraise.io.
## Personas / User Screening
`The first part of the process is to identify which persona category our interviewee fits into. At this stage, we should focusing on companies that are either raising now or in the near future. This guarantees that our users have a pre-required motivation for completing Stage 1 (Digital Transformation) and Stage 2 (Fundraising). We can gather insights from companies looking to raise in the distant future, however they should be the secondary focus as they might provide distracting metrics for why they haven’t completed Verification, Deal Rooms, etc.`

The term _Success_ is defined in three separate stages:

### Goals
#### Before the interview
We want to identify and analyse companies at each of these stages.
#### During the interview
We want to assess the reason for both success stories and failures. Then locate pain points within each flow and the designs.
This will give us insight into WHY companies are falling short at each stage of their companies success story (e.g closing a deal).
#### After the interview
Once we have located the hurdles companies are faced/challenged with, we can ourselves HOW might we be able to improve the process to get them reaching success.
