It's not a fee you pay it's just to get your shares in the Guild which you can RageQuit anytime. Your shares allow you to vote on how our funds are spent collectively. - **What is wxDAI ?** - It's "wrapped xDai"... similar to using ETH and wETH, xDai needs an ERC-20 wrapper on it to makes it so we can move it around as a token. - **I have xDAI, how do I get wxDAI** ? https://app.honeyswap.org/#/swap - **What if I have DAI on mainnet but not on xDai ?** https://omni.xdaichain.com/bridge - **If you don't have any crypto?** - There are many ways to get cryptocurrencies, If you have a bank account you can buy it on https://www.coinbase.com/, if you preffer to remain annonmymous you can ask a crypto savvy friend if they will accept some cash for crypto and they make a deposit for you. --- ### C. Pledging is the way we keep our community aligned, it's the way we fund our internal RAID's such as creating tools that help us coordinate better, architecting systems that make it easy for you to join raids, and supporting our tavern keepers that help with on-boarding YOU and writing things like THIS. It might seem strange to be asked to put cold hard crypto on the line to join a club of freelancers but you can be sure these funds always belong to you and they are never at risk. If at any point in your Guild expereince you decide to RageQuit the funds from the Guild Bank will be withdrawn into your personal account with no reprecussions and no fees. --- ### D. New members working their way in are called @apprentices, if you choose to become an apprentice it is up to you to make your intention known, to grab issues and opportunities as they arise and earnestly seek to provide value to the Guild so that we may justify the cost of adding you to the Guild.
