:moneybag: We reached the end of what can be achieved with the 1500 DAI budget UX budget. I’ll claim 150 DAI and trust Bingo to determine fair split of the remainder between himself and Bayley.


:bulb: Smart Escrow usability testing and training uncovered significant knowledge gaps among clerics re: how to use Airtable and Gnosis Safe along with Smart Escrow to keep project funds safe. This suggests a broader training is needed to help clerics use our tool to its full potential.

:books: Bayley & Bingo are spearheading the creation of this cleric training, which will include further Smart Escrow sessions. Tae is in the loop and in full support of that RIP. Ideal outcome is trialing the training with apprentice clerics during Season2 in Aug and invite any other part-time clerics who B&B haven't had a chance to talk with yet.

:rocket: From my perspective, I see no blockers for release of this upgraded version of Smart Escrow. Would love to see our launch plan include release notes and a screen recording showing what's new.

Smart Escrow is an upgrade to our previous escrow app, using the Smart Invoice infrastructure to bring a number of improvements to our raid payment operations:

- variable sized milestones: align payment milestones more closely to deliverables
- clients can deposit on a per-milestone basis: no more requiring clients to front the entire raid budget
- clients can add additional funds beyond original budget: supports tips and some degree of scope increase
- any address can deposit into a smart escrow: allows multiple client addresses to make deposits
- tokens sent directly to the escrow contract can now be recovered :wink:
- as before, disputes are adjudicated by LexDAO
