# Raid Guild Round Table Notes: 9/30/2021 ## Proposals & Members - 🎉 Welcome to new member Sascha 🎉 ## Props & Shills - Smart Invoice on Mainnet! - Smart Escrow coming soon to Mainnet - Props to **dan13ram** for getting the UI ready and to **Saimano** for additional work on these products - Haus Party (9/30) with **Travis the Beard** - Reminder to use Smart Escrow and Smart Invoice (see Discussion Topic notes) ## Raids, Raids, Raids! - Raids wrapping up — what does Q4 and early 2022 look like? - We should visit this topic in the Futures call and determine what we want to do to start strong in 2022 - S3 *Meme-Driven Development* next week to jam on ideas and come out with some solid Season 3 project specs - This'll be during next week's Round Table — we should invite Season 2 to this - TMS Community Group (**#raid-tms-community-group**) - See the channel for more info - (Don't want to share too much info in these notes) - Funds to help them start a DAO — Community Designer/Community Manager role - Looking for support for community folks — if interested, jump into the Raid channel - (We discussed *Raids impacted by Moloch* but I'm not including in the notes incase there is anything sensitive we don't want to be accessible) - Best practices around setting up multi-sigs: *n of n* (eg. 2 of 2) is risky - Could do at least a *2 of 3 minimum* or use a DAO ### RIPs - Chapter 4 *dot-org* RIP submitted as a GitHub issue - We should also do a Portfolio RIP (Chapter 5 of *dot-org*) - Split Bot RIP coming soon — there is a GitHub issue and will have an upcoming proposal - Cleric Calculator — potential RIP coming soon - Shillshop Website RIP — needing some assets and access to the Figma ### Token Talk - Rebooting — exploring how to utilize $RAID token for incentives ## Season 3 - November could be a good option — there are folks from Season 2 who can help support it - May need to do a cohort-esque training for TMS Community Managers - Feedback from MCON — everyone looking for Community Designers and Managers, so what could this look like as a cohort training? - Question: - Should Season 3 focus on specific roles? - What would sponsors look like? - Open to ideas about sponorships - Next week we'll do a Meme-Driven Development to think through projects and specs for Season 3 ## In the UberHaus - MetaXcelerator — proposal being put together by Jeremy - Gets peopel from local meetups and groups and brings them through a funnel into DAOhaus/Raid Guild/MetaCartel ecosystem - Could lead to some inbound folks - Potential grant committee to fund ideas on DAOhaus ## Discussion Topics - Smart Escrow and Smart Invoice - Reminder that Smart Escrow is the way to go for having clients pay us (smartescrow.raidguild.org) — additional documentation coming soon - Should we be adding an additional fee on Mainnet to cover gas? - Smart Invoice: At 77 gwei it was roughly ~$97 and will be more expensive for Smart Escrow - We could tack on another $100-200 onto our fee to cover this when we kick off a Raid and a client is paying on Mainnet - Will be additional costs per Milestone, payouts, etc. - Could up the fee to $1000 to cover these additional costs - Could we add in additional networks now that we have multi-network support? - We may not need to worry about Mainnet as much if we continue to push to other chains - Keep this on our radar - Take a stance and support Arbitrum — we should maybe stay away from Polygon due to several issues --- ## Weekly Meetings **Raider Round-Up**: Tuesdays, 1pm EDT 10am PDT **Shill Shop**: Tuesdays, 3pm EDT, 12pm PDT **Wordsmiths**: Wednesdays, 11am EDT, 8am PDT **Happy Hour**: Fridays, 1pm EDT
