--- tags: Raid Ops --- # Raid Guild Round Table Notes: 8/5/2021 ## Proposals & Members - **earth2travis** Member proposal - 🎉 Welcome to **Amos (arentweall)**! 🎉 - 🎉 Welcome to **ceresbzns**! 🎉 ## Props - jonathanp on UberHaus site v1 for EthCC - Bau for helping newer Members navigate the Discord server! ## Shill or Be Shilled - HausParty - PoolHaus Lounge - MCON planning ongoing - September 15 - 17 in Denver - Site MVP launching August 6 - There can be a Raid Guild component if we want it to be (beyond the RIP to build the site) - If RG wants to do anything beyond this, reach out to **DamagedGoods** - Can see how many RG Members are going and then determine if we want to do something - RG as a potential fireside chat partner? - Pulse check on people potentially interested post up if interested in coordination: Reach out to **DamagedGoods** ## Raids, Raids, Raids! **Potential Raids** - Have some Solidity mobs going on and hoping to bring in more Wizards in the upcoming Season 2 Cohort **Current Raids** - *WIP Publishing Raid* needs designers and frontend, but **hruday** has a contact that is outside of the Guild — what process should we follow for bringing them in (or for disclosing to the client?) - If we go that route we should consider having a backfill of a full Member - *SimpleFi Community Raid* is back on track — we should review the information about the previous Raid ## Rips - **Dungeon Master** - UX integrating feedback from user interviews - API and Backend in progress and working to save and migrate previous data from the Airtable - **WrapEth** - **bitbeckers** has built a new version using ChakraUI, so we can extend by making a Gnosis Safe App (since deployed on IPFS) and can also extend a component library via the Storybook that's included - **MCON Website** - Make sure we get paid for this and that the Guild gets the spoils - **Skill Forest** - Picking up again! **mkdir** will have a repo in the Guild organization - **mkdir** working on Smart Contracts and testing, and then we'll be reviewing if our designs and workflows need to change or if we can move forward with implementation in the existing Dungeon Master buildout - There is a Figma for the design — check out the channel if you're interested in seeing it ## Season 2 Cohort Projects - LFG! - [Season 2 Projects and Tasks](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BYOP_irLeh7Y5G4smhVDvwGOKfhEMecI9DoUf0MCbRU/edit) - Please keep thinking of Season 2 Cohort projects - Add ideas to this spreadsheet - Some projects have been carried over from Season 1 - **tae** going to talk with **peth** from MetaGame and we can consider focusing on getting Season 2 folks into the MetaCartel ecosystem - Getting some Builders into MetaGame, DAOhaus, and other ecosystem DAOs - We'll be jamming through this starting next week - 120+ people have filled out the interest form - Kicking off next Wednesday (8/11) - Add to projects list by next week - Aiming to have Office Hours during the cohort — if Members are available that would be appreciated - Stake $RAID on applications? - Applications will likely be open for another 5 days or so - Soft consensus on the budget: ~$6000 - Would include ~$1000 to the Season 2 Cohort DAO - We can look into getting larger sponsors (such as Opolis or Gitcoin) for future cohorts - Send a DM to **tae** if you have thoughts or want to jam on this idea - Need to create a Season 2 calendar — but where would this live? - Cohort calendar instead of Sesh? - Calendar helpful for upcoming cohort so they can see all upcoming dates - We can potentially still do something with Opolis during Season 2 if there is interest - Generally, an Opolis info session or workshop for folks who are interested - **mkdir** leading workshop sessions for front end devs interested in learning Solidity since this is very much needed in the Guild - This can be open for Season 2 Cohort members - Down the road we can have several workshops for cohorts — devs running workshops, designers, etc. providing value to incoming folks - How can Members contribute to the onboarding? How can we boost participation from the Guild for the cohort process? ## Token Talk - Token drop and the introduction of the consultation queue is coming sometime next week - Looking for Guild feedback for the token symbol — **louxuol** has put together great designs so please vote! - Want to be sure that our selection looks good in context (Uniswap, Sushiswap, CoinGecko, etc.) - What is the best path for tracking some emergent ideas for how to use $RAID? - We should make the Discord channel more permanent and move from the RIP channel - Folks can add ideas to the newer permanent channel — we can maybe figure something else out down the road but this would be a good starting point ## Omni Analytics - 3 Omni Analytics folks interested in doing data science work and have been doing Dune Analytics work — did a great job on the [NFTX dashboards](https://dune.xyz/yogeshbansal/NFTX-Dune-Dashboard-Protocol-View) - Apply as individuals or as a group? - Should consider applying individually and then would be tributing back to the Guild? - Could potentially be a Raid Guild data science arm - Have we ever had a group work as a sub-DAO within Raid Guild? - Ideally there is no degree of separation if they're all RG Members - We can have a longer conversation about what this could look like during next week's Futures call - Would a group be forking as a sub-DAO? ## In the UberHaus - Vote in progress for Keating to be the Raid Guild delegate - Keating has stepped up to be the delegate — Lucas stepping down due to current capacity concerns - Other UberHaus updates: - UberHaus is streaming funds for ecosystem DAOs intiaitive - Ecosystem DAOs are a composition of DAOs doing different things (such as Boost Foundry) - PoolHaus launched on Monday and will be taking membership proposals through next Monday (8/9) - Can deposit LP tokens or wEth in exchange for Loot or Shares (voting) - Stake and earn HAUS rewards for next 3 months ## Discussion Topics - Discord server tour for newer Members? - Onboarding session - Cohort onboarding: - New Members who haven't gone through a cohort should go through the upcoming Season 2 Cohort (launches Wednesday 8/11 🚀) - Arbitration process declaration and clarification and followup --- ## Weekly Meetings **Raider Round-Up**: Tuesdays, 1pm EDT 10am PDT **Shill Shop**: Tuesdays, 3pm EDT, 12pm PDT **Wordsmiths**: Wednesdays, 11am EDT, 8am PDT **Happy Hour**: Fridays, 1pm EDT
