- [ ] how does your project contribute to the OSS Ecosystem? please provide specific examples of how your application enhances or expands the current ecosystem.
- Raid Guild and its Cohort process aims to advocate, promote, and adhere to the OSS ecosystem. Every project, plan, or conversation is done out in the open and recorded on public ledgers. Many of the tools developed by the Cohort, and by extension Raid Guild, are completely open source with the aim of having the technologies used and built upon by anybody in a collaborative way.
- [ ] what features or use cases does your dapp present? how is it differentiated?
- Cohort VII aims to be a group of mercenaries knowledgeable in DAOs, blockchains, AI, open sourced software and collaboration. Rather than being tied to a specific decentralized technology, Their dynamic as a decentralized group effectively makes them a technology in itself, enabling the creation of decentralized solutions.
- [ ] what are your plans for further development, and how will the grant funds be used to achieve these goals?
- The cohort will go onward and join the rest of the ranks at the Raid Guild. From there, they will participate in Raids, RIPs, and dungeons, that will continue development of technologies that enhance the web3 landscape. These efforts require expensive equipment and service fees, in addition to the valuable labor these intiatives entail.

Raid Guild - Cohort VII

**Project Description**

Cohort VII is the latest batch of adventurers who have chosen to embark on a trek to slay Moloch. They are a diverse group of Wizards, Warriors, Scribes, Archers, Paladins, and more; coming from lands far and wide! The initiation ceremony ran from October 15th 2024 - November 1st 2024.

They gathered in the town square to listen to the crier's latest musings on DAOs, Memecoins, AI-Assisted development, ZK Tech, Network States, Onchain Gaming, Depin, and many more magical concepts.

Forming small parties, they confronted the Minions of Moloch, creating and documenting shared technologies in the town’s public library for others to use and expand upon.

They enjoyed frequent Festivals containing beer and light conversation forging friendships, pacts, and contracts.

Through these activities, they acquired skills for operating within DAO frameworks and are now equipped to engage in governance and operations.
