# Consultation Queue copy

### Current
Every consultation has a base fee of 500 DAI (on mainnet).

The demand for our work has been often high, so we’ve created a bidding system to prioritize consultations, for which we use $RAID.

Adding a bid to a consultation submission is not required, but in periods of high demand it might take longer to respond to consultation requests without bids. There is a 7-day lockup period before you can withraw your bids and/or cancel the submission

The first step to hiring Raid Guild is to submit a request for a consultation. During the consultation, we will discuss your needs, whether Raid Guild can meet them, and collectively determine how best to proceed.

Since demand for our services is high, Raid Guild selects the next consultation to take from a queue (see right). To add your request to queue, you can submit a payment of 500 DAI (on mainnet). Your request will be placed at the bottom of the queue.

If you'd like to get prioritized access to our services, you can move your submission up in the queue by bidding $RAID tokens. Raid Guild will accept the consultation request with the highest bid in $RAID.

Your bid will be locked for 7 days. After 7 days, you may decrease or cancel your bid if you'd like. You are welcome to increase your bid at any time to move further up the queue.

## New Consultation ("Hire RaidGuild")

To hire RaidGuild, you must first request a consultation. Consultations have a base cost of $500 xDai, and are initially ordered by date (ascending). Anyone can add a bid (in $RAID) to an open consultation.

Raid Guild will prioritize the highest bids when time and specialists become available for new consultations. In times of high demand, this might mean consultations with low or no bid have a longer turnaround.

To request a consultation, please fill out the form starting on the next screen (click Start). The more information you can provide about the work you want to hire Raid Guild for, the better. The form will have space for information about you / your team, background and description for your project, specs for the work, as well as a few questions to give us an initial feel for your needs.

Once you've filled out the form, you will also have an opportunity to add the 500 wxDAI (or DAI, if on mainnet) fee to be added to the consultation queue. After that, you can return to the queue page itself to add a $RAID bid to move up in the queue.

Your request is on its way. Expect a response from the Guild within 48 hours. While we work, your feedback can help us level up.

### Revised (for paid submissions)

Your request has been added to the end of the queue. A member of the Guild will be in touch with you once we've worked our way down the queue. For a faster response, you are welcome to add a $RAID token bid to your submission to move higher up the queue.

Your request is on its way. Please note that since you chose not to include the 500 DAI payment with your request, we cannot guarantee a response. To add payment to your submission, please reach out to a member of the Guild.
