# The Houses of RaidGuild 🏘

The RaidGuild is growing, everyday we have more and more folks joining the server. Coordination is not going to get easier by magic, it needs structure and commitment from the members to keep running smoothly.

This proposal suggests that we might benefit from spliting up the duties asssociated with organizing raiding parties, empowering one rep from each house to coordinate for the whole house ( Design/ Dev/ Shill/ DAO)

## The Ask

Each house leader will have some responsibility and need to keep track of whose avaliable, capable, and suitable for each raid. These responsibilities take time, time is money, thus a budget needs to be set for each house leader.

I believe the budget should be in shares as that's the most aligned method, and we are cash poor. A good # to start could be 5 shares / month to each house leader.

**4 houses * 5 shares each = 20 shares per month.**

# How it Works

The #who-is-avaliable channel will remain the point of contact for client projects, yet is no longer a place for everyone to check, it becomes the sole responsibility of house keeper to check it once daily for any submissions related to their house. Anyone can ping the house leader in order to know the avaliablity of that house, when a project is related to that house it's the PM/Clerics responsiblity to reach out and make contact with the client but the house leaders job to find the avaliabity of raiders.

Apprentices will also fall under the purview of house leaders, if there is a Design Apprentice you should help find them a task, support them in joining the Guild, or make some time to have a one-on-one convo with them. We should all pay it forward to those new members as someone took their time to bring you into the Guild.

## What do keepers need ?

- Bot sends message of avaliablity for upcoming month.
- 4 Weeks in discord ( Thumbs up / Thumbs down)
- Bot sends message again 7 days after non-response.
- All data is stored in airtable.
