# PORFI Design Sprint Notes 06/14/23
## Design-Oriented Notes from Tokenomics Sesh

## Branding Ideation
- Goal: diverge as much as we can to align on a common vision.
- Goal: identify the key audience/persona and their level of technical aptitude
- Goal: identify specific characteristics of this persona = feelings, intentions, curiosities, goals.
- ID Associations:
- Polygon:
- purple
- mechanical, geometric
- accelerating mainstream adoption
- Index tokens:
- simplifying bag diversification for the regen-ideologically inclined
- expertly researched, designed, endorsed, battle tested
- Regen movement:
- emphasizes ecological, economic, or social regeneration
- shades of green (darker = more eco, lighter = more solarpunk)
- or blue (for more economically conservative user)
- possibly solarpunk
- possibly public goods focused: ecological or tech infrastructural
- Workshop:
- go around the room and everyone gives a 1-2 minute brain dump of associations.
- while the person is speaking, everyone else captures their own associations of what they are saying.
- focus on high level associations, not technical features or mechanics.
---
### Notes:
- Background in climate change.
- Very few people care about economic, social, or ecological regeneration = cater to
- PORFI is a native, yield-bearing, regnerative finance token with tax buy back.
- Potential partnerships to increase yield bearing potential
- Solarpunk is too niche = want to be as broad and approachable as possible
- "Index go up!" = you will see an increase in value, clear ROI
- Economically safe, but also a token that people APE/YOLO/FOMO into = degen users
- **Dionysian** belligerence/intoxication/partying in the front = [rave culture in New Zealand!](https://maryhush.super.site/)
- **Plato/Socrates** in the back = clear, calculated, responsible, social conscious, heart of gold 💛
- Can point to escapism from the important issues of the world, which is not healthy
- Certain flavors of escapism can be healthy to regain objective distance:
- "Cleasning the palate of the individual"
- Or is it hyper association?
- Professionalism as an organization
- Ethereum is the first blockchain, but will later expand to others.
- Ethereum: neutral
- Later, scaling layers:
- Arbitrum: looks corporate, but attracts degen
- Optimism: looks hard, but has a soft inside
- We should avoid the pastels and gradients, move towards harder contrasts
- The internal product values applies/migrates to any chain
- Approachability, on the lighter side
- Does not require an expert knowledge to interact
- Meme/icon/image is important to align behind
- Major products:
- PORFI token
- carbon credit marketplace
- green bonds
- Aesthetics:
- monochrome is fine, but concerned about it being boring
- vibrant colors = puke, chaotic, over stimulating
- We want a middle zone: interesting colors to hold attention, but not overwhelming
- Naming:
- Let's throw as much at the wall as possible
- It could be provisional at first, then the community could rename later.
## Dashboard Ideation
- Goal: identify the user of the token and dashboard
- Goal: identify what the user is trying to accomplish with the dashboard, their intentions
- Goal: identify what we need to provide for them to execute their goal in the most minimally viable flow. For example:
- A non-technical user wants to know how their minting/holding/staking is supporting regen projects. They want more education and cultural associations and may lack the aptitude to retain technical descriptions.
- An intermediate technical user will have some experience/familiarity with crypto interfaces. They will want to track more technical metrics of what is happening with the token in order to make informed decisions: staking, unstaking, burning, etc.
- A technically proficient or advanced user will want detailed economic tracking, customization, access to dev docs.
- This might seem dumb, but important to make this as explicit as possible.
- Goal: ID the various flows of this defined user. Generate content. Divergence as much as possible!
- Goal: ID the most efficient route of these flows. Organize content. Convergence as much as possible!
- Goal: fast and dirty sitemap (will be refined later). ID any assumptions, constraints, links out to other pages, etc. For example:
---
### Notes:
- Tax on Transfer
- Destination
- Amount
- Supply Cap: real time supply metrics
- Current underlying assets (will the assets change? Answer: no, because of trickiness in adjusting Balancer pools):
- `Wrap` and `Unwrap` buttons: to make or break various baskets
- current composition and value of the index
- current composition and value of the basket
- Short/long-term charts
- `Burn` or `Claim` button: burn index token to redeem underlying assets for pro rata share?
- Variable supply cap indicator
- Governance feed!
- forum feed
- proposal feed
- governance tokens vs. index tokens
- treasury, members, and other DAO dashboard elements
- Links to token liquidty/DEXs?
- LP options
- LP rewards/incentives
- Link out to Balancer multi-asset pool, or pulled via API? What Balancer elements are significant?
- "Capital efficiency multipliers"
- Where APR/APY is coming from
- Links to CEXs, public frequented coin trackers
- Information about monetary policy, inherent risks, audits
## Landing Page
- Should have a clear understanding at this point of user elements and flows. Now is the time to agree on them.
- Goal: what the landing page needs to say, in what order.
- Goal: ID what info exists, what needs to be generated, and what copy we are accountable for.
- Workshop:
- A few minutes of diverging/generating ideas.
- A few minutes of organizing, editing, and elaborating ideas.
