To connect APs to OpenWISP, one can use either the OpenWISP Agent or SNMP agents, depending on whether the devices are running OpenWRT or proprietary firmware. Once the data is collected, it can be stored in InfluxDB and Redis databases, which are designed to handle large volumes of time-series data and provide efficient querying and analysis. The data can then be distributed via the OpenWISP API, allowing users to access real-time information on network performance and usage. By integrating Aruba APs with OpenWISP, one can gain valuable insights into network performance and usage, identifying and troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively. The data collected can be used to optimize network performance and ensure reliable and secure wireless connectivity for users. Overall, the proposed system architecture provides a flexible and scalable approach to network monitoring and management, enabling users to easily collect and analyze data from a range of devices and platforms, and make informed decisions about their wireless network.
