# Formula
This is demonstrated solely to help understand the game. As the game evolves, this formula might be incomplete. We recommend players use our [Production Comparison](https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/production) and/or [Team Analysis](https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/team/analysis) for the most accurate calculation.
The calculation for the actual carry limit goes roughly like this:
$$
\lceil\ (C_B + 5 \times E + C_S + C_R) \times M_G\ \rceil
$$
Where:
- $C_B$ is the Pokémon base carry limit, visible in either [Pokedex](https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/pokedex) or individual Pokémon info page
- $E$ is the number of times the Pokémon has evolved. For example, [Pikachu](https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/pokedex/25) is `1` since it evolves from [Pichu](https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/pokedex/172)
- $C_S$ is the sum of the carry limit increase from active [subskills]
- $C_R$ is the bonus carry limit granted by [Good Night Ribbon]
- $M_G$ is the bonus multiplier granted by activating [GCT]. For the actual multiplier number, check the [GCT] guide.
