# Friendship Point (FP) When you encounter a Pokemon after a sleep, they will have a red bar on top of their head, which is a friendship point gauge. The player needs to max it out to [catch the Pokemon]. Each Pokemon will have a different [Friendship Point] (FP) requirement. The player needs to feed the Pokemon [biscuits] to accumulate FP until the max is reached to catch them. > [FP] for each Pokemon can be checked either in [Pokedex](https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/pokedex) or individual Pokemon info page. The [FP] accumulated will carry over to the future sessions. Overfed [FP] will NOT carry to the next Pokemon. > For example, given Pikachu max FP of 7, if a Pikachu is fed till FP 4 in the 1st sleep session, it will still be FP 4 in the 2nd sleep session if it shows up. > Using the same example, if the player used an ultra biscuit (FP 5), the FP on that Pikachu will max out. If another Pikachu shows up in the 2nd session, it will be FP 0. # Friendship Level (FL) When you have caught a Pokemon, [FL] will increase by 1. Reaching certain [FL] will award you a befriending badge of that Pokemon. The FL thresholds depend on the Pokemon. See [Befriending Badge] for details about the traits of reaching these threshold. # Befriending Badge Once reaching certain [FL], you will be awarded a befriending badge, which potentially would give the following traits: - Locking Subskills to Gold - Special Profile Icon - Ability to toggle gold subskills locking > For checking the befriending badge [FL] thresholds, traits, and the corresponding Pokemon, see [Befriending Badge](https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/info/friend-medal). You can also check individual befriending badge thresholds in each Pokemon's info page. The one that is particularly impactful is the gold subskills locking. Since there are 1 or 2 very good gold subskills out of 7, locking gold subskills (or not) will impact the probability of getting a good Pokemon. Our premium feature - [Skill Set Probability](https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/skill-set-probability) can demonstrate the difference of having this ON or OFF. > If you understand none of this paragraph, we recommend checking out [how to evaluate a Pokemon] first. Once you have learned how to evaluate a Pokemon, this paragraph should start making sense. Note, [FL] is 2 when you have caught 1 of that Pokemon. For getting the befriending badge awarded at [FL] 10, you would have to catch 8 Pokemon without the befriending badge effect first, then the befriending badge effect will start from the 9th catch. # Useful Site Features [Pokebox Stats](https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/team/box/stats) allows you to record your [FL] to easily track your current progress. It also allows you to mark Pokemon, so you can easily note down who you're still chasing for. [Skill Set Probability](https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/skill-set-probability) calculates the probability of rolling a Pokemon satisfying the conditions you specified, including subskills, natures, locked gold subskill count, etc. It is recommended to know [how to evaluate a Pokemon] before using this.
