# Intro We do **NOT** recommend players send Pokemon away before mastering how to evaluate a Pokemon. We think that the players should master everything in this guide before starting to send Pokemon to the professor to be safe. If the guide seems outdated, please report it in our [Discord]! # Glossary We split Pokemon into **Pokemon species** and **individual Pokemon** when needed in this guide. - **Pokemon species**: XX of the whole Pikachu species means that XX is applicable for all Pikachu. - **Individual Pokemon**: XX of an individual Pikachu means that XX is **ONLY** applicable to that Pikachu the player caught. If you are not sure about what [subskills] or [nature] are, make sure to check their guides before continuing. # Pokemon Stats The stats of a Pokemon individual can be split into 2 parts based on what they are bound to. ## Bound to Species The following stats are bound to Pokemon species: - Base Helping Frequency - Main skill - [Production Rates] - [Carry Limit] - Berry These stats do not change by individual. Instead, they change based on species, so no matter how many individual Pokemon you have caught for that species, it's always the same. You can look up these species-bound stats by either checking [Pokedex](https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/pokedex) or the individual Pokemon info page. ## Bound to Individual The following stats are bound to individual Pokemon: - Level - [Subskills] - [Nature] - [Ingredient Combination] These stats are bound to individual Pokemon, so they change for every catch. Any changes to these stats affect that specific individual Pokemon only. [Subskills], [Nature], and [Ingredient Combination] are the 3 main stats you will likely keep rolling until getting a good one. # Rolling Pokemon Stats A Pokemon species can be caught infinitely many times as long as you have enough [biscuits]. Every catch of a Pokemon is considered rolling the stats once. Once the player has caught them, they can evaluate the Pokemon to decide if they want to send them away or keep them. For details about catching a Pokemon, see [catching Pokemon]. # Evaluating Pokemon Once you have caught a Pokemon, you can evaluate it following the [rule of thumb] to know if you probably want to further evaluate it or if it's fine to send it to the professor at a glance. > We intentionally separate the [rule of thumb] out of this page so you can bookmark that page as a reference instead of finding it in the sea of texts. If you can't memorize the [rule of thumb], feel lazy to check/memorize, or are still unfamiliar with all the aspects of the game, you can still use our [rate my mon] feature directly for rating them with the default settings. # Useful Site Features [Rate my mon] is one of the most used features on our site to easily rate a Pokemon without much hassle. > Default settings cover most cases. Once you have learned more about the game, feel free to tweak the settings for rating if you know what you are doing. [Production Comparison] helps list the performance of each individual Pokemon you specify. Some other players use this for evaluating Pokemon against what they have. [Team Analysis] evaluates the performance of the team as a whole for [raising Snorlax]. Some other players use this to plug-n-play the Pokemon they have caught and see if it makes the team stronger, especially the ones with Helping Bonus. [Pokemon Stats Search](https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/pokemon-combo) is a premium feature that does the same thing as [Production Comparison] but in a reversed way. Site users enter preconditions for generating individual Pokemon and optionally provide a condition of a certain metric. The feature then generates all possible individual Pokemon and calculates the probabilities of satisfying the condition on that metric, if provided.
