# Week 0 Update

Hi, I'm Preeti, and I’m joining in a permissionless manner.

Participating in the WIEP (Women in Ethereum Protocol) Study Group has tremendously helped me navigate the Ethereum protocol landscape. I'm particularly interested in development, especially within the Hyperledger Besu client.

I began contributing to Besu through WIEP and would love to continue contributing. I already have a few issues assigned that I plan to work on this week.

This week, I plan to:

* Continue working on my assigned issues in Besu
* Dive deeper into EIPs relevant to Besu development
* Attend upcoming protocol and client calls to stay updated
