# The Problem
A google search for "R Quiz" returns 235k results. So why build another one?
There are a number of attractions to testing R knowledge:
* Skills Testing
* Preparing for Skills Tests
* Education and growth
Currently there is no single (freemium) platform that can address all three of these points. To take each in turn:
## Skills Testing
To be effective, the platform must have the following features:
* Sufficiently large to avoid rote memorisation (or be private, and hence unsuitable for education & growth)
* Ability to objectively measure question difficulty. This requires that answerers exclusively represent the target audience (ie, R professionals)
* Questions that are accurate and well written. This requires professional copywriters (expensive, finite) or a robust community review system.
