# Start programming in python

Go this website jupyter.hpcc.ucr.edu

Put your username and password for the cluster.

Then you will see a page like this :


On the left tab navigate to the bigdata folder and open the `gap_stat.ipynb` notebook. You will see this :


On the top right corner make sure the selected kernel is :

Now you are good to go. Read the instruction on the notebook and run the code cells one by one by pressing `ctrl+shift`. Just make sure you wait for each cell to fully run.

Let me know if you have any issues in running the cells. You should not recieve any warning or errors after running the cells.
