# Lya maps and subhalos ###### tags: `data-doc` `Lya-tomo` ## ASTRID : The snapshots are : `(snap_num, z) : (294, 2.3), (272, 2.5), (252, 2.7), (225, 2.9)` ### Lya maps : The resolution is $(0.25 \ cMpc/h)^3$ and the box size $250 \ (cMpc/h)^3$. There are 3 fileds on these maps : `'flux'` : The mean-flux corrcted F. `'map'` : $\delta_F$, also mean flux corrected `'NHI'` : The HI coloumn density in each voxel ($atoms/cm^2$) on CaltechHPC : `/central/groups/carnegie_poc/mqezlou/ASTRID/maps/` ### Subhalos: on CaltechHPC : `/central/groups/carnegie_poc/mqezlou/ASTRID/subhalos/` I recommend you use `HDFCatalog` module in `nbodykit` to load these. ([here](https://nbodykit.readthedocs.io/en/latest/api/_autosummary/nbodykit.source.catalog.html?highlight=HDFCatalog#nbodykit.source.catalog.HDFCatalog)) ## TNG : ### Lya maps : Resolution is same as for ASTRID. But the box size is $205 \ cMpc/h$. Note: So far, we have the maps for z = 2.5, 2.7 only. I submitted the jobs for z=2.3 and z=2.9 on July 18th, 14:00. The estimated start time is on July 24th . On CaltechHPC : `/central/groups/carnegie_poc/mqezlou/TNG/maps/` ### Subhalos : On [TNG's website](https://www.tng-project.org/data/downloads/TNG300-1/)
