### Bulk actions - Questions and clarifications https://ateliere.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/~305465490/pages/3821764609/Bulk+Actions --- 1. Which are the expected system limits for each bulk action? - for example, the UI informs user that the limitation for tags attach/detach is 100 items, it's not supported by the system(https://ateliere.atlassian.net/browse/CD-11437) 2. We currently have a lot of inconsistencies related to **delete** action in Connect, especially when referencing items. Maybe we need to review the current behaviour and set some clear product expectations around this specific action (not only in bulk) and add tickets to the initiative if needed. *as a minor example:* we can delete titles that are being used as parents by other titles, the parent is removed from FE (but the reference remains in BE, since we have soft delete). Clear button is still available in the UI. ![](https://i.imgur.com/J1UDpyu.png) I'm sure we can find some other cases too, if we do some digging, when you should be able to delete something, and when you shouldn't 3. For some actions, workflows will be triggered on each individual item. Is there a way to observe/monitor the entire progress? From what I've seen in Figma, we have just a `notification informing me about the successful completion or the failure of the workflow with a direct link to the workflow` 3.1 Which workflow? 3.2 What happens if we have multiple failures? is there a report file containing the information? 3.3 This notification is not present in design for all cases that will require workflows 3.4 What happens if we change anything in the system that will impact the bulk action currently in progress (e.g update on ingest settings, on profiles etc)? 4. No confirmation pop-up available in design for tags, platforms & some other 5. Figma designs must be reviewed and updated, there are some inconsistencies (see metadata templates - some columns do not make sense, platforms - what's the status column, languages?) 6. We already have the possibility to add bulk titles to batch, at batch level. Do we want this at title level as well? ![](https://i.imgur.com/TniDLgF.png) More to come... I think we need to think about some common elements that must be considered and designed from the beginning and take the stories one by one in order to see the implications for each and what needs to be changed/improved.
