# iOS Idea Brainstorming
### "Wishlist"
Give athletes the ability to add products to a "wishlist items" section (could be a subset of cart or favorites) and give the ability to one-click share the wishlist with others (this might be an email with a list of products, or it might use some other medium). If someone buys the item for them (maybe utilize gifting here, and connect the wishlist to the order), send that athlete a push notification that someone bought the item for them and check it off/remove it from their wishlist.
### "Keep Me Posted"
Let's say an athlete performs a search (ex. "golf shoes"), but does not like any of the products shown. Show some sort of text + button that says "Not liking anything? [ Keep Me Posted ]", and upon clicking that button, it will save the search term (and will note the items viewed), and then on the homepage, a carousel will appear that will run that search and return any NEW items added that match the search since they last checked. So in the above example, let's say it is October 26th and I have searched golf shoes, the carousel will display any product matching golf shoes added after October 26th. We could probably cache the results for 24 hours to limit queries.
### "Popular Near Me"
If an athlete has location services and appropriate permissions set, add an indicator to product cards (or create a new section) for items that are most purchased within 50 miles of their geo area (or even just use selected store, might be easier to not have to worry about location). The idea is that you as a user may not have something you were aiming to purchase, but are noticing that others are purchasing (let's say winter coats as it's getting colder), you might be more inclined to get one as well. Some marketing tools/homr may cover this, but I think it stands out more if you see actual other users purchasing the item.
### "Sneaker Release Widget"
iOS 16 allows for more complex widgets to be added on the lock screen with live data; Might be interesting to create one for sneaker releases with a live countdown displayed. Could also tie in product reservations/draws, and indicate if you are in or not in the draw, plus show the result once finished.
### "I Want This"
Use the vision framework (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/vision) to try and detect text/objects from user-provided photos, and run a search against what is detected (text search against identified text, thumbnail search against images). Might be one of the more complex ones, but also might be one of the most rewarding ones. For example, if you could take a picture of a spalding basketball and if it could do a text search for "Spalding" and an image search for an orange circle and return matching results, that would be pretty useful to an athlete.
