# Announcing CosmWasm Testnet on BitSong

Con estremo piacere annunciamo il lancio della nuova testnet pubblica di BitSong. Nello specifico, l'adozione di CosmWasm aiuterà l'onboarding di nuovi CosmWasm Developer e l'incremento di Music Dapps su BitSong.

## CosmWasm

Come molti di voi già sanno, CosmWasm is a smart contracting platform built for the Cosmos ecosystem. CosmWasm is written as a module that can plug into the Cosmos SDK. This means that anyone currently building a blockchain using the Cosmos SDK can quickly and easily add CosmWasm smart contracting support to their chain, without adjusting existing logic.

Rust is currently the most used programming language for CosmWasm, in the future, it is possible to have different programming languages like AssemblyScript

## Motivazioni

L'utilizzo di Smart Contracts dentro BitSong aiuta nuovi sviluppatori a collaborare alla costruzione di un ecosistema musicale decentralizzato. BitSong è in primi un ecosistema musicale, ed il nostro intento è offrire nuovi usecase utilizzando gli smart contract all'interno di progetti musicali.

## Dapps

Con questa testnet annunciamo una **Call for Developers**, ovvero un contest dove diversi developers proporrano dapps da inserire all'interno dell'ecosistema BitSong.

Le prime due Dapps che vorremmo inserire sono:
- Fantoken DEX (smart contract da utilizzare per Sinfonia)
- DAO for Fantokens

Invitiamo inoltre quanti più developers a suggerire e realizzare nuovi smart contract da adottare in un ecosistema musicale, per esempio:
- Sistema di reward per i music players
- Sistema di loyalty programs per i fantokens
- Fan engagement
- Distribuzione di music release sotto forma di NFT

## Incentivi

Per questa testnet è previsto un incentivo di $10,000 USDC da distribuire ai developers solo dopo un'attenta valutazione della giuria. Al termine della testnet sarà possibile pubblicare lo smart contract in mainnet.

A causa dei continui aggiornamenti che potrebbero esserci, i nodi validatori non sono attualmente incentivati.

## Durata

La testnet terminerà il 30 Novembre 2022, nel corso del mese di dicembre verranno inviati gli incentivi.
