Q11:Can you think of a way to make it more functional? ::: --- :::warning ## Testcard ## Pre-testing **Name:** Lucas **Age:** 15 ans **Occupation:** élève en seconde **Context of the meeting :** Lucas is one of the participants little brother **Duration of the meeting:** 20 minutes ## User scenarios testing **1st instruction**: You are going to be testing our website and in order to do that you have to connect yourself on the page **Observations:** Lucas had some trouble to fill in all the information that was being asked. Some of the questions seemed a bit too complicated. --- **2nd instruction:**: You are scrolling through the different pages and you have to click on the pop-ups **Observations:** Lucas did not have any trouble doing that --- **3rd instruction:** Can you save your progress on the website? **Obversations:** Lucas needed some time to find the right button ___ **4th instruction:** try to design your perfect schooltrip **Observation:** Lucas spent 10 minutes thinking about the place he would want to go to and the spots that he would want to check out on this trip. He would have liked to have more propositions directly on the website ## Qualitative testing **Positive feedback:** - Lucas liked the idea of the website, he would like to be able to design his next school trip using our website - He found it nice to have several options country wise and spotwise --- **Neutral feedback:** - The path of the website was rather easy to understand --- **Negative feedback:** - The design was not what he was looking for - He found that there was too much philosophical related questions - He was hoping for something more simple design wise --- **Learning & insights:** From that, we've learn that we have to work on the design of our website --- **Decisions & actions:** To iterate, we will try to change the images and improve the font ::: :::warning ## Testcard #2 ## Pre-testing **Name:** Sophie **Age:** 12 ans **Occupation:** élève en cinquième **Context of the meeting (where, with who, etc.):** Sophie is one of the participants little sister. The meeting was at home. **Duration of the meeting:** 30 minutes ## User scenarios testing **1st instruction** (this is your first scenario): You are going to be testing our website and in order to do that you have to connect yourself on the page **Observations:** Sophie is doing great this part. --- **2nd instruction:** (this is your second scenario): You are scrolling through the different pages and you have to click on the pop-ups **Observations:** Sophie take her time but did it well. **3rd instruction:** Can you save your progress on the website? **Observations:** Sophie did it easily. **4th instruction:** try to design your perfect schooltrip. **Observations:** Sophie did not have an idea about the schooltrip she wanted to make. She took 5 minutes to think about it and she created her perfect schooltrip. She had no idea of the budget needed so she did not fill the box. ## Qualitative testing **Positive feedback:** - She was very happy about being able to create her own shooltrip. It seems very existing for here. - She was impressed about all the information provided by the website about the different locations. - She said that the website is really easy to use and we are not lost in too many icons and information. --- **Neutral feedback:** She gave no neutral feedback. --- **Negative feedback:** - She did not like the design and the photographs of the website. - She proposed use to add fonctionnalities to create trip but not only schooltrips. - It was long to enter all the informations. --- **Learning & insights:** We have mainly learn that we have to really improve our design. We have to change the pictures of the website to be more attractive. Children have to dream about their perfect schooltrip just looking to our photographs. --- **Decisions & actions:** We will change the design and the photographs of the website. We will maybe add some icons. ::: :::warning ## Pre-testing **Name:** Catherine **Age:** 50 years old **Occupation:** former teacher now school principal **Context of the meeting :** Catherine is the mother of Claire **Duration of the meeting:** 15 minutes ## User scenarios testing **1st instruction**: You are going to be testing our website and in order to do that you have to connect yourself on the page **Observations:** The part where Catherine filled in the information was very fast --- **2nd instruction:**: You are scrolling through the different pages and you have to click on the pop-ups **Observations:** It also went rather fast --- **3rd instruction:** Can you save your progress on the website? **Obversations:** It was not as easy as the two first steps ___ **4th instruction:** Try to think of a schooltrip that your students would like to join Catherine found some ideas rather fast as she has planned some schooltrips in the past ## Qualitative testing **Positive feedback:** - She thought it was a great idea for students to become more independant when it comes to designing their perfect schooltrip - It was nice to find spots that she had visited in the past - She liked the idea of thinking of a way to describe the trip --- **Neutral feedback:** She gave no neutral feedback. --- **Negative feedback:** - She found the design a bit old. - She said that maybe the youngest student from middle school will be lost during the process because it is quite long and some box are really hard to fill (for example the budget or the expression "philosophy of the trip" when the most part of the students do not know what is philosophy) --- **Learning & insights:** From that, we've learned that we have to work on the design of our website (once again) and that we had to make it easier to understand --- **Decisions & actions:** To iterate, we will try to improve the buttons
