# Gather Town 聯合贊助計畫 - 對 gather.town 服務的需求與技術規格交流

- 6/17 前如果能夠天上 70% 左右明確的需求的話就太好了
- 7/7 前要確認每一個技術規格細節
- 各 conf 夥伴可以考慮直接進去 gather.town office hour (see below)，或是直接與 gather 通信詢問各種您需要的技術細節（請 **CC [e-mail] mail group** 所以其他 conf 夥伴也可以直接看到有什麼問題被問了）
- 取得答案後歡迎大家共同編輯這份共筆補上彼此問到的技術細節

### 贊助回饋

The joint team is planing the following events to promote Gather:

- Mentioning Gather on each conference websites of the joint team
- Mentioning Gather on each conference social media (if any) of the joint team
- (TBD) Mentoning Gather in rooms and spaces that are used by the conference event with basic and advanced objects in rooms and spaces. A more pratical plan with more details will be provided later.
- 磁磚蓋 Gather 廣告地板
- 各 conf 之間 space 使用 portal 互通(理論上白名單可控制特定人員進出)
- (TBD) A blog post summarized the experience to host virtual conferences with gather.town. Let us know which language (en or zh) you prefer if any.

每日需要幾小時： 6(測試)(GMT+8 1300~1900) / 12(GMT+8 0700~1900)

其他：主要活動都是在9/4，其他時間就是進行地圖的設置、對於贊助商的宣傳基建。大約在八月中的時後決定整個年會是否要以線上模式舉行，如確定線上舉辦的話就會使用Gather作為與會者、廠商互動的平台。

## MOPCON

日期： 10/23 - 10/24
天數： 2
每日需要幾小時： 12 / 12
人次需求： 1500 / 1500
其他：
- 會分成四個 track 希望每個 track 可以容納至少 500 人
- 人數多容易照成老舊電腦（ 2017 MBPR ）筆電過熱甚至當機
- 之前有測試過免費版 20 人的會議加入，就有出現參與者無法聽到其他與會者聲音的情況

## g0v Jothon

日期：6/26 (Sat.) 09:00 - 17:00
天數：1
每日需要小時：8（原本是 9 小時，但因應付費方式就改成 8）
人數需求：150
其他：
- 之前有發現如果 A 參與者進入時會議室有打密碼，若會議室密碼改變時，A 即使退出再重新進入也不需要打新密碼可直接進入。
- bubble 功能的分享螢幕是僅限 bubble 內還是 private space 的所有人 → 期待未來可以在此時變成 1:1 的畫面分享
> 目前還沒有規劃
- 下個月會有新的價格方案
- 下次想問會眾的鏡頭有可能多人大合照嗎？目前看起來最多只能拉到一次顯示 9 個人

The best time to come chat, and get some detailed answers to your questions, would be to stop by office hours! 

We are offering Gather Office Hour sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:00pm to 4:00pm EST hosted in our Office Hours space. Additionally, you can drop in anytime to check out the self-serve videos and demo spaces. 

We will be hosting live group demonstrations at the start of each hour (approximately 20 minutes). These are on a 'drop-in' basis, and are a chance to explore some of our most popular maps, see how Gather handles larger groups, interact with other Gather users from around the world, see demonstrations from Gather staff. To keep things orderly, please bring no more than four total teammates to office hours. 

We also have additional staff on hand during these hours who are able to answer specific questions about pricing, about map creation, and any other technical questions.  Those staff will be located in the same space as our office hours and will be available for those conversations on a first-come, first served basis.
