# SPS Governance Proposal - Flatten SPS rewards in Daily and Season Chests

A proposal is being put forth to a vote of all staked SPS token holders to decide whether or not to flatten SPS rewards in daily and season chests. This would be accomplished by removing all gold foil drops and common legendary drops.

This proposal seeks to flatten the reward distribution of SPS. Looking at Table 1 below gives the approximate break down for 300,000 Gold season chests being earned by all players. A common drop would occur approximately 74% of the time and range between 0.22 and 0.65 SPS while a Legendary GF drop would occur approximately 0.02% of the time and have a range between 543 and 1,630 SPS. The current system determines the band and then randomly populates a number along the range.

A vote for this proposal would result in the distribution found in Table 2 below for a season in Gold league where there are 300,000 chests earned. As you can see, all of the SPS chest drops would be worth considerably more and be flattened.

Please note: These ranges will vary by league and season. If there are more gold chests earned, there will be less SPS available per chest. We are using gold as a metric because it is a good good starting point for players. Below is also an approximation on the impact to Champion players which have the largest EoS chest numbers.
