# SPS Governance Proposal - Rating Reset and League Bands

A proposal is being put forth to a vote of all staked SPS token holders to decide whether or not to change the end of season reset values and adjust Champion rating bands to match every other league.

Currently, the reset values can be seen in the table below in the column of "Old Season Reset Value". By voting for this proposal you support modifying the reset values to the column on the far right. The adjustment to some of the leagues

In addition to the reset value, this proposal would normalize the Champion league bands so that each tier in Champion has a 300 point range like every other league. Originally, there was a distinct difference in rewards for being in Champion III vs. Champion I. However, since shifting to rewards being based on the overall league the high spread may no longer be necessary.
