# The New Look of the Corrections Command

The Department of Corrections is responsible for the incarcerated population of the State, feeding them, giving them adequate yard time, and making sure they aren't being a ruckus inside as they're on the outside.

The Department has two main divisions, **Special Emergency Response Team** referred to as "SERT" and, the **Marine Division**. SERT is the equivalent to SWAT *(Special Weapons and Tactics)*, they're called in during any prison riots, jail-breaks, and or if any attack on the Correctional Facility occurs. While, the Marine Division patrols the facility's waters, assuring that no one comes in or out through the waterways. Marine Division also may handle waterway pursuits of criminals who are on the run that use the waterways as a means of escaping.

Assistant Warden Aptable left the Department of Corrections on **April 19th at 10:00PM EST**, being the *15th Assistant Warden* he served **almost two years**, only wanting to reach the position of Captain he found himself a lot higher than that. He wishes to focus on his own group which is "Emergency Responders Roleplay", no one can blame him for that, as Firestone is coming to a standstill.

Captain Skeletron19YT left the Department as well, which took effect on **April 19th at 6PM EST**, he served for **two years and ten months**, he leaves SERT but remains on the legal team for the Department.

# Their Successors

With Aptable leaving, **HeyItsSmoother becomes the Assistant Warden**, serving for a year, he led one of the more "difficult divisions" per Warden Droow.

For **SERT Commander**, Skeletron19YT's right hand man, **his Executive Officer Chaserdude123** who served for 2 years and 1 month, and a 1 year and 4 months as the SERT Lieutenant. Shortly after receiving the Commanding Officer position, **he made InstantBuckets his Executive Officer**, which is a Lieutenant position. InstantBuckets served 2 years in Corrections thus far.

Admiral j_aaaames resigned from leading the Marine Division as Admiral, Droow (the warden) promoted **ElloNT to lead the division**, serving for over a year.
