# Specter 2 Item Book **Flashlight:** Provides a dim light to shine in the dark. It can be equipped by pressing T for computer users or the button for iPad users without holding it. The amount of flashlight's that appear in game depend on the respective amount of players currently in the game (for example: 2 players, 2 flashlights or 4 players, 4 flashlights). Flashlights cannot be purchased in the store - only Strong Flashlights. **Book:** When placed down in the **ghost room**, the ghost can write in it if they require writing evidence (some ghosts aren't able to write in the book). When the ghost writes, black illegible squiggles will appear on the pages. This can sometimes take a while. If writing appears, this counts as writing evidence. The book is a default item but more may be purchased for $75 ($68 for Premium players). **Video Camera and Tablet:** The Video Camera and Tablet are a set of two items that appear in lobbies by default. The Video Camera can be placed anywhere inside/outside the map and can be viewed using the Tablet. More Video Cameras may be purchased for $200 ($180 for Premium players). This can be used to monitor various parts of maps. **EMF Reader:** This is the best item for identifying the ghost room. When turned on, it will display a single green light on one of five lights. There are 5 different EMF types, each with a different meaning. More EMF readers may be purchased for $100 ($90 for Premium players). **Strong Flashlight:** It is very similar to Flashlight but significantly more powerful. Strong Flashlight can be purchased in the store for $150 ($135 for Premium players). **Motion Senser:** This is a small gadget which can be attached to ceilings, walls, or floors. The Motion Sensor will start rapidly beeping if a ghost or player walks past it within its respective radius. This can be useful for telling which way the ghost is coming from during a hunt. A Motion Sensor can be purchased for $120 ($108 for Premium players). **Candle and Lighter:** Although separate items, the Candle and Lighter need to be used together to function. The Lighter can be used to light a Candle, which will provide a strong light for 5 minutes. Candles can be blown out by ghosts, and cannot be picked up while lit. It can also help increase a player's sanity by a little. A Candle can be purchased for $30 ($27 for Premium players) and a Lighter can be purchased for $25 ($23 for Premium players). **Crucifix:** This is an item which can be used to stop the ghost hunting once by placing or dropping it on the floor. This only works when the ghost is near the crucifix. The crucifix will disappear when used to stop the hunting phase, but can be used once every new round if you survive. A crucifix can be purchased for $100 ($90 for Premium players). **Glowstick:** This is an everlasting item that provides a dim green glow. The glow can be visible even when dropped. Glowsticks are an unlimited light source. They can be purchased for $40 ($36 for Premium players). **Sanity Soda:** This is a can of soda which can be drunk to replenish 50% of your sanity if it's too low. It can help against ghosts that target low sanity players. It can be purchased for 100$ each ($90 for Premium players). **Ghost Googles:** Ghost goggles are a default item which can be worn by the player. When worn, your vision turns dark purple. Ghost Goggles are used to find Ghost Orbs, which are neon purple floating balls that are only visible with the goggles. Orbs spawn randomly and only appear for a couple of seconds, so you may need to look for a while. They will only appear in the ghost room. If you see orbs, that counts as evidence. More ghost goggles can be purchased for $125 ($113 for Premium players). **Thermometer:** A handheld gadget which is also very good at identifying ghost rooms quickly. The thermometer has three different types, which change depending on the ghost. 14-7 Celsius is the base temperature for anything normal. This does not mean anything. 4-0 Celsius means you are in the ghost room, but it is not freezing. This does not count as evidence. Any temperature below 0 Celsius are freezing temperatures, and this counts as evidence. Additional thermometers may be purchased in the shop for $100 ($90 for Premium players). ## EMF Reader **EMF Readings** *Color & Meaning* ``` EMF - 1: Green | The default EMF reading. This means nothing. ``` ``` EMF - 2:Yellow | Second light turns on, steady beeping. This means you are in the ghost room. ``` ``` EMF - 3:Light Orange | Third light turns on, higher beeping. This may signify a ghost appearance or hunting. (Completes the "Record ghost activity with the EMF reader" objective.) ``` ``` EMF - 5:Dark Red | Fifth light appears, louder beeping. Counts as ghost evidence. (Completes the "Record ghost activity with the EMF reader" objective.) ``` ### Spirit Box **Definition & Questions** > **Spirit Box:** The Spirit Box is a radio-like box which can be used to communicate with the ghost. When in the ghost room, turn off all lights and turn on the Spirit Box.
