# Specter 2 Ghost Handbook **Banshee:** The Banshee is a dangerous ghost that will hunt it's prey one at a time. Banshees are said to mourn the death of a family member, and some say they can be heard weeping, but there is no conclusive evidence behind that claim. A **Banshee** can be identified with **EMF 5** reading and **freezing temperatures**. They are also able to leave **fingerprints**. **Demon:** The demon is a violent ghost. They are known to attack more frequently than other types of ghosts, so keeping your sanity high is an important protection. **Freezing temperatures** are a sign of a demon. However, they also communicate with the **spirit box** and can write in the **book**. **Mare:** The Mare is the source of all nightmares, making it powerful in the dark. Making sure the fusebox stays on is important to surviving mare hunts. **Freezing temperatures** are a sign of a Mare. They also communicate with the **spirit box** and can create **ghost orbs**. **Spirit:** Spirits are common and basic ghosts. They are very powerful, but passive, only attacking when they need to. Known to manipulate objects around it to spread fear into its victims. Poltergeists communicate with the **Spirit Box**, can leave **fingerprints**, and create **ghost orbs**. **Jinn:** A Jinn is a territorial ghost that will attack when threatened. It has also been known to travel at significant speed. **EMF 5** is a sign of a Jinn. They can also communicate with the **spirit box** and create **ghost orbs**. **Shade:** The Shade is known to be very shy. There is evidence to suggest that a Shade will stop all paranormal activity if there are multiple people nearby. The Shade is able to create **EMF 5** readings, leave **writing** in the book, and create **ghost orbs**. **Yueri:** A Yueri is a ghost that has returned to the physical world, usually for the purpose of acting out revenge, or a deep hatred. They are often seen in their physical form, guarding their place of death. The Oni can create **EMF 5** readings, communicate by **writing**, and use the **spirit box**. **Revenants:** Revenants are violent ghosts that will attack indiscriminately. Their speed can be deceiving, as they are slow while dormant; however, as soon they hunt they can move incredibly fast. Revenants create **EMF 5** readings. They also can communicate with **writing** and leave **fingerprints**. **Phantom:** A Phantom is a ghost that can possess the living, inducing fear into those around it. They are most commonly summoned from Ouija Boards. **Freezing Temperatures** and **EMF 5** are signs of a Phantom. However, they also create **ghost orbs**. **Wendigo:** The Wendigo is an evil spirit, document in native folklore in North America. They're said to cause those under their influence to have an insatiable greed and hunger, sometimes for human lives. Wendigo become faster as your sanity drops. Wendigo leaves **fingerprints**, come communicate with the **spirit box**, and cause **freezing temperatures**. **Upyr:** The Upyr is document in Slavic folklore, with the most modern comparison being a Vampire. Upyr rise from the grave if their soul has not been redeemed from their sins. They seek the blood of victims, becoming faster and more emboldened to hunt with each kill. Upyr create **EMF 5** readings, and cause **freezing temperatures**. They also communicate with the **spirit box**. **Egui:** Egui (餓鬼) has a literal translation of "hungry ghost". They will hunt for people who have a specific item in their inventory, seemingly random, even if their distance is farther than others. **Ghost orbs** are a sign of an Egui. They also communicate with the **spirit box** and can write in the **book**. **Aswang:** Aswang are a spirits from folklore of the Philippines. They prey on the weak, targeting those with the lowest sanity. The aswang create **EMF 5** readings and leave **fingerprints**, they can also communicate with the **spirit box**. **Wisp:** The wsip can hunt faster in light, and will turn on lights more frequently than other types of ghosts.
