**tl:dr:** Fund nounish proliferators for IRL events and the proliferation of that content online via micro-funding and prop house rounds.

Proliferating ⌐◨-◨ at IRL events and sharing that content online is often the best way to reach a new audiences but also to excite the existing nouniverse. At this time, we do not have a strategic approach to supporting proliferation and default to occasional prop house rounds and small grants. This initiative would create a structure to identify Nounish Ambassadors and support their efforts with swag and retro funding for activity. The primary focus will be on NFT conferences, hackathons and meetups as well as other related events (e.g. sxsw).

## Nounish Ambassadors:
budget 45 eth retro fund, $5000 USDC physical merch

The Admin Team will select the first cohort of 10 **Nounish Amabassadors** via Address Form, seeking to identify a diverse team (geographically, demographically, event-wise) that will be tasked with proliferating ⌐◨-◨ at events they are already planning to attend. The Admin Team will review applications and discuss in order to reach a consensus and good mix.

The selected Nounish Ambassadors will receive a **Proliferation Kit** with the following items: 2 pairs of FunNoggles, 50 Lofi Noggles and red noggle pin from Nounworks.wtf; and custom Nounish Ambassador bag, shirt, and hat from CommeAnons.com. Plus custom stickers/cards with specific QR code tracking for that ambassador. Nounish Ambassadors will be trained and expectations defined. They will also be assisted with creating POAPs for use at events and AR filters or other fun tools/apps. Ambassadors are encouraged to use their own talents and ideas as well for creative forms of proliferation.

Nounish Ambassador applicants will be reviewed and vetted to create a good mix of people and events for broad reach, with a nounish vibe but not necessarily Nouners or active in the eco-system. They will need to be able to explain nouns and answer basic questions. More introverted nounsfolk are encouraged to apply. ⌐◨-◨ are perfect for those who are less comfortable in social situations – it gives you a built in conversation starter.

Proliferation activities include but are not limited to: Posting nounish selfies, distributing stickers (within legal limits), create and distribute nounish POAPs, speak on panels wearing noggles, drawing noggles on white boards/chalk boards, adding noggles to lego displays, etc. And general nounish conversations. Activities must be shared on socials such as Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, discord.

Each month, the Nounish Ambassadors will submit a form (using AddressForm/AddressBoard) detailing their proliferation activities including links to social media content shared, and links to any podcasts or spaces recordings,etc. The Admin Team will score activities based on a rubric and reward ambassadors up to 1 Eth based on activities. (1 eth max; no minimum)

10 Ambassadors will be selected for March, another 5 for April and another 5 for May, with a total of 20. The Admin Team along with the Nounish Ambassadors will select the next group of ambassadors. For retro funding, a maximum of 1 eth will be budgeted per ambassador with amount awarded determined by activity reported at the end of the month. Ambassadors who do not submit for retro funding may participate in retro funding voting. The Admin Team may not submit for retro funding. 10 eth budgeted for March/April, 15 eth for May, 20 eth for June to account for adding new ambassadors each month.

## Proliferation Fund

Some of the most effective proliferation comes from the sharing of content on social media/discord, as well as from the naturally nounish who go forth and proliferate. In addition to the specific funds for the Nounish Ambassadors, the following funds will be distributed as part of an overall proliferation fund to amplify nouns’ presence at events and expand reach:

**Event Proliferation support**
25 eth micro-grants for events; sponsorships, speakers, poap art, etc

**Nouns on the Couch online proliferation**
30 eth online proliferation not otherwise compensated (micro grants and prop house) focus around sharing event info/proliferation, as well as podcast and spaces sponsorship/rewards

We currently do not have a strategic and organized ways to reward proliferation, especially for those outside the ecosystem. This will encourage sharing on social media and reward those who represent nouns on podcasts and spaces as well. This will include a mix of prop house rounds and micro grants. Nounish Ambassadors may apply for event proliferation support but not the “What did we miss?” Prop Houses or Nouns on the Couch rounds.

## Admin Team
budget: 30 eth

The Admin Team will also serve as Nounish Ambassadors and will kick off the search for the first cohort. They will be responsible for the selection and training of the first 10 ambassadors and along with the those selected, they will help choose the next two cohorts. They will be responsible for determining the retro funding criteria, creating training for the Ambassadors and determining what is awarded in the retro funding rounds, prop house and micro funding.

1 eth per month per team member for:
* Selection of Ambassadors: review applications, meet and select new ambassadors
* Assist with training new ambassadors
* Establish metrics to be applied for retro funding and expectations for Ambassadors
* Promote the Nounish Ambassadors program
* Monthly retro funding review to determine payments to Nounish Ambassadors
* Serve as Nounish Ambassadors at events, on spaces, on podcasts, etc (not eligible for retro funding)
* 18 eth total budget (3 months, 6 eth per mo)
* Additional 12 eth for rewarding additional activities by the Admin Team such as: maintaining twitter account for Nounish Ambassadors, Mod Nounish Ambassador discord, host spaces/info sessions to promote all programs, etc. This will be based on monthly determinations based on activity.
* Any unused funds will be returned to the Nouns DAO treasury.
