## tl:dr: Art Haus sponsored event for the 2nd Nouniversary at Hodler Gallery in Miami with an artist talk and art exhibition with Cory Van Lew.

NOTE: Messhup will be creating a POAP with a party version of his original Art Haus piece. This is just an inspiration and will NOT be the final version.

**Let's get this Art Haus Party started! This prop is to request 3 eth for an event that will both celebrate the Nouniversary with a live activation that will be streamed, as well as official launch Art Haus DAO.**

* August 8, 2023, 6 pm to 8 pm at Hodler Gallery, Miami
* Artist Cory Van Lew has been commissioned to attend and exhibit his recent nounish fine art painting (is the first of its kind?) and to give an artist talk about this and his work. Cory has incorporated nouns glasses into many of his digital works but this is the first physical piece.
* Media Sponsor: as Cory is a TIMEpieces artist, TIMEpieces has agreed to be a media sponsor and will cohost the twitter spaces with the artist talk as well as promote the event on their social platforms.
* The IRL event will be for 88 people with a stream to The Noun Square YouTube and Twitter Spaces for greater reach and capture for distribution of the evergreen content.
* I am also working on securing PizzaDAO as a sponsor and expect to confirm this next week.

This event will serve multiple purposes by profliferating nounish art as is the goal of Art Haus; introduce Art Haus DAO to a wider audience; and as a nounish DAO built on Nouns Builder, provide exposure for BuilderDAO as well.

This will also reach the artist audience whose attention we'd like to capture. This event will help to kickstart Art Haus.

## Hodler Gallery

Hodler Gallery is an NFT focused art gallery in the Wynwood section of Miami. They often hold NFT related events. The detailed invoice can be found the dao talk area of the Art Haus discord. They are fans of Nouns and are excited to hold this event.

We will have 8 frames with 2 reserved for Cory, 2 for TIMEpieces media sponsorship and the rest for nounish art work and our event logo.

## Cory Van Lew

Cory has incorporated nouns glasses into custom pfp creations as well as the Rug Radio pfp collection. But it is his new physical painting that caught nounsfolk's attention. This may be the first nounish fine art piece and it is quite special. This piece will be on display at the event and Cory will discuss his nounish journey as part of an artist talk at the event.

## **Budget**

The total ask for this prop is 3 eth to be distributed as follows:

for rental, non-alcoholic beverages and staff. A cash bar will also be available for guests.

Messhup: .1 eth artist payment to 0x0C66d954d9cb1ebDF4E37a000262323C83655e70 messhup.eth to adapt original work for event POAP

Prof Werder: .25 payment to 0xCEEd9585854F12F81A0103861b83b995A64AD915 thenounishprof.eth for planning and coordination -- this effort has already taken about 5 hours of coordination and I expect that will quadruple in the next two weeks. Prof will be coordinating with all parties, including media and streaming.

Swag and incidentals: .7 eth to 0xBDb00bE8f4a16c0467E6B9Bc1865354682a59284 arthaus.thenounishprof.eth for Stickers, napkins, cake and food in addition to PizzaDAO sponsorship which has not yet been confirmed. Any unused eth from this line item will be returned to the treasury.

TIMEpieces media sponsorship: in kind -- 2 of the gallery frames will be reserved for rotating TIMEpieces art work.

PizzaDAO: in kind - PizzaDAO logo will be on all media pieces in exchange for pizza. This will be confirmed this upcoming week when the team returns from ethcc.
