# EIPs Insight (June 2022)

## Summary

In June, [4 EIPs](https://hackmd.io/l5XgW46iTVCg4_CMJcvIdA#Promoted-to-Final) promoted to **`Final`**. [9 EIPs](https://hackmd.io/@poojaranjan/EIPsInsightJune2022#New-EIPs-amp-Status-change) are added to EIPs repository in `Draft` status and [1 EIP](https://hackmd.io/l5XgW46iTVCg4_CMJcvIdA#Standard-Track---Interface) in `Living` status. [9 potential proposals](https://hackmd.io/@poojaranjan/EIPsInsightJune2022#Potential-Draft-Proposals) are *work in progress* to be merged.

Proposal for [Gray Glacier](https://github.com/ethereum/execution-specs/blob/master/network-upgrades/mainnet-upgrades/gray-glacier.md) upgrade, [EIP-5133: Delaying Difficulty Bomb to mid-September 2022 ](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-5133) has completed it's `Last Call` today and is successfully deployed on Ethereum mainnet. [PR](https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/pull/5191) open to promote to `Final`.

[EIP-5069: EIP Editor Handbook](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-5069) is an *Informational* EIP added to the repository that will be a handy reference for EIP editors and those who want to become one.

In other changes, EIPs GitHub *Greeting bot* has been [removed](https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/pull/5124). An edit to fix unterminated bracket to `Final` [EIP-681: URL Format for Transaction Requests](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-681).

Ethereum community received a [**new EIP editor Gavin John (@Pandapip1)**](https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/pull/5123) :clap:
