#### Come Together, Right Now (She One Holy Roller)

Everybody meets up for a big inspiring speech. Nobody is inspired, and it seems from the headmaster's speech like House Luteus is involved in this, if not under duress, at the very least they're not totally thrilled about it. (This comes up again later.)

We get a tour of the school grounds. Edgar, one of our Ettiquette teachers, is not supposed to give us a tour of where the bar/pub is, but he tells us he's not supposed to, which gives us all the pointers we need. Frankly this is the thing that has put us on the path to ruin. Or success. Or ruccess.

Marina incites the first of many Nadia Gay Panics, takes a string, and invites everyone to the pub. Everyone will _eventually_ make it there, but Edward takes the long route, hits on _Lisette's best girl_ Yuria, and invites her for a date. That will go well! And Tatiana is late for what can only be described as "Tatiana reasons."

We were all at the pub. Nothing interesting happened.

#### So Much For The Afterglow

We go back to our rooms. Nadia has to be practically carried because she's almost as drunk as Mariette, who is basically legally dead. (She gets better, thanks to some healing from Tatiana. This is probably the last time that things are fine between Tatiana and Mariette, frankly.) Marina and Nadia have a talk where Nadia misunderstands Marina's level of interest in her and gets very upset about it, in what seems to be the last time that the thing that Marina does to upset Nadia doesn't make Marina look like a Captain Planet villain.

It is important at this point to note that Edward's date with Yuria did not go well. This will be covered again elsewhere, but it's important at this point to note it.

But first, lessons!

#### Ettiquette

Edward goes to blackmail class. This seems like a waste of everyone's time, because Edward already knows how to blackmail. Edward will also work "don't you think it's weird that we have a blackmailing class" into conversation roughly (checks notes) every conversation.

(Yes, Edward, it is weird.)

#### Alchemy

The pair in class that makes the best light potion gets a vial of ambrosia. This goes to Tatiana and Lisette. Tatiana apparently alters the recipe to make the potion glow brighter but not as long, which certain people will later refer to as "cheating" and Lisette will insist is "trying."

#### Swordplay

...this fucking bullshit.

The short version: Nadia and Mariette get sent to detending.

#### A Study Into Whether Or Not Marina Has Object Permanance

Nadia: Marina, I would like to continue our conversation from yesterday over dinner tonight.
Marina: Sounds fun!
Nadia: [departs]
