- **FEF** - interested to be Gold, wants to have an Official receipt in addition to sponsorship agreement. We proposed an individual consultant/contractor arrangement similar to HIVOS last year (trhough Arnalie Vicario who will provide an OR). **Discuss: Up to when should we pursue this oppurtunity?**
- not critical to pursue if money is a concern, inform the deadline is end of Oct1. but they are still welcome to send a talk.
- **Facebook/Mapillary** - interested to be Osmium. Due to acquisition of Mapillary, they are discussing the funding level. FB is proposing a side-by-side logo placement. **Discuss: Do we agree to these terms?**
- Remind them of our policy (1 logo per sponsor), ask them to send a sample side-by-side sample logo if they can share a sample.
- As long as the logo can appear to be from a single sponsor, i think that's best [name=erwin]
- RK mentions "Instagram by Facebook" logo, and Ben agrees that that might be preferable
- We will abide by our sponsorship agreement.

- RK raised the concern that people who would benefit the most from this grant may still find the reimbursement scheme infeasible.
- Release subsidy in tranches

- if they attend the session, they will get the suceeding tranche
- moderators/tech assistants will check attendance of "scholars"
- proposal: to gather conference feedback/inputs , i think we can require scholars to submit their feedback about the session for them to get their last tranche [name=erwin]

- Application period is the entire month of October 2020.
