Are there plans to make an overall player “score” for matches? If so what metrics will be used to calculate the score (kills, buffs, heals, etc)? How will the game economy work? Will there be a MUD token? Equipment/Item drops (and if so, when will that get rolled out)? For owners that have multiple Heroes, any incentive to continue to hold them? Staking, rental, etc? As it stands now, the game is "fun", but is going to require getting a lot more players involved. How will players (existing and new) be incentivized to play the game? It seems we need to get a virtuous cycle going to draw people into trying and enjoying playing -- and difficult to do that until we get more people interested in playing. For the previous roadmap, can we update that to show which items have been "completed", and new expected timelines for the other bullet points? And any changes in those plans, aside from just timing? How many people are on staff on this project, what (roughly) are their roles, and roughly how many "full-time equivalent" people do we have building the project? Any details on recent changes to team (departures, additions, etc) and how that has or hasn't impacted the development plan? And does this recent change in the crypto/NFT environment lead to any changes in either the development plans going forward, or strategies for growth? Also, haven't seen Machi post in several months, after being very active during the initial weeks/months of the project; what is his current role with the Evermore project, and is this a change from what it was previously? Thanks! To elaborate more on Patrick’s question regarding p2e. Can you guys talk more on f2p plans? Interested to know how this would work in practice. I think we all agree that it is the best way to onboard users. Another thing I would love to hear thoughts on would be how to split parties up more and incentivize players to go it solo sometimes. In traditional mobas much of the fun comes from having 3 lanes and getting picks. Having something like this would add some flavor and dynamic to the play that could go a long way. I’ll just keep pushing the same questions, maybe you want to answer them in the AMA 🙂 - What will the borders do? - Can you name a few race abilities already? - Will hero with “legendary” names do anything special? - will the rarity on the heroes roughly correlate with their in game power? As you can see I just want to go berserk on the secondary haha But right now it’s still a huge guessing game 😀 Is there any chance of being able to toggle the leaderboard for wallet/user instead of only character? Would it be possible to save the server state and/or character progress a blockchain? Will there be an evermore marketplace where we can buy/sell/trade heroes, items, and weapons? What are your plans for the website design overall? Are you working on an improved ux independently of the existing one or just planning on iterating on what we are currently using? The current design is functional and I think some people like the old school green text while others find it to be a bit bland. To be clear I’m referring to the site and not the game interface What’s the deal with the companion panel bug? If so do you plan to attempt to do something to that effect with evermore? Do you know of any other projects that have done this? ##### Live Questions 1. 10,000 is a large number of characters. Ideally we would have thousands of participants, but with MUDing being a somewhat niche market, would there be any consideration of burning a character nft for something? - asked by feathxr 2. I think you may have answered this before, but will we be able to download a log of our matches? - asked by Borg 3. so will we be able to play against the other projects ? like against apes ? goblins - asked by TYMED yesssss vvvvv =) teeing it up, sec *Remember to mention the POAP claim and Typeform link to claim their AMA item! I'll post the Typeform link in the AMA GREAT WORK
