Pull requests **MERGED** 1. ... ## Attendees * Erik * Nick * David * Ben ## Action Items ***Person*** * ... ## Minutes * Erik has put up days 1-2 in the videos on the YouTube. * Adding a title slide and ending slide * Wants to add chapters * David only needs the link to * On hack week site, should have an index * David sent an email with CSSI program manager about getting t-shirts, DPP booth. * They asked for a more detailed budget. * David will coordinate that. * DPP booth * Nick won't be able to go but can be present via a monitor * Nick makes brilliant Max Headroom reference that nobody gets * What are next steps for `plasmapy.dispersion`? * Numerical solver * This would be a lot of work. * Is a full general dispersion solver warranted? * There are some codes that are out there...often written in Fortran * Highly nonlinear PDEs that sometimes have poor convergence and are difficult to solve * Post about [future PlasmaPy working groups](https://github.com/PlasmaPy/PlasmaPy/discussions/1260) * Dispersion join with transport maybe? * Don't know of a Python full Vlasov solver * Would be useful to have in PlasmaPy * But could take months of work * Could start by working on Fortran code approach and trying to get it to work * Can come back to which topics to approach after Bellan dispersion stuff
