## Week 12 to 20 November 2024 (until 19 & 20 Nov lessons)

### Prelude VII (Barbara Arens) <<-- We will start the lesson with this prelude
As we did during our last lessons:
Groups of two measures + 1 note: LH faster than usual.
The idea is to listen to the progression of the long notes notes connecting the harmony, while the harmony is soft.
Then, slow down and practice the same part with LH + RH.
If you want to pass once or twice the RH alone (before HT), it is okay
Go ahead in groups of 2 measures + 1 note
Remeber that we have similar measures throughout the music: 3, 5, 11, 13… and 4, 6, 7, 8...

You can apply the same logic we are using in the Prelude VII.

Saying the obvious:
LH: Left hand
RH: Right hand
HT: Hands together :)

26.Nov -> Practice during the time we would have our lesson
27.Nov -> Practice for 10 minutes. Have a glass of water. Ask one of the parents to record what you prepared. Probably one video for the Prelude I, one for the Prelude VII, and one for the Cinderella. One video for each, without repetitions.

After receiving the videos, Julio will send new ideas to practice.

As we did during our last four lessons:
Groups of two measures + 1 note: LH faster than usual.
The idea is to listen to the progression of the long notes notes connecting the harmony, while the harmony is soft.

Then, slow down and practice the same part with LH + RH.

From measure 9 until the end, the RH has only rotation movement, not circular anymore!
For this part, practice the RH as we did on 17 and 18th December: without repeating what repeats, so you can play several measures playing only a few notes: dó-lá, ré-lá, ré#-lá, mi-lá-si-lá, mi-lá, ré-si, lá+dó.
You can apply the same logic for the LH, taking care of the fingering: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 1!

### Cinderella
Be sure to always sing the notes at the same pace.
The measures 8 and 16 look similar, but they are not!
The fingering is your ally: use the correct fingering and all the notes will right below the correct finger to play them.
