Minecraft Mod Lets you Relive Classic Harry Potter Games

Minecraft and magic have been mingled several times in recent. Spellcraft is one of the most popular of these magical mix-ups. It adds over 22,000 spells and new ways to use them. However, the fan-made EpicSpellsPlugin is definitely worth keeping an eye on too.
Minecraft news

We posted about this plugin in May, which was impressive enough then, but development seems to have continued at a fast rate since the time we wrote about it. Morica_ from Reddit wrote in a post that they've added the ability to cast spells using no commands. You now just have to change the name of the stick "Magic Wand", then sneak and draw symbols in the air.

The video showcases some of the spells and the ability to tie them according to your preferences to different actions. It's all very esoteric. This is exactly the feel that magic should strive for. Morica_ discusses a few more features in the comments but the one that is most notable is the one that Morica_ mentions.

When asked about the possibility to create custom spells, Morica_ responded with "Yes! Although this probably won't occur in the next few months, I really would like to see something similar. I also code spells to ensure that they work mostly using pre-made items." This basically means that spells can be modified by using items that are already in the game. This could be a great method to live the Hogwarts Legacy without buying the game.
