# Polkadot Decoded 2024: Reimbursable funds to attend from Virto

As you probably might be aware, I [was selected](https://forum.polkadot.network/t/decoded-2024-sponsorship-for-active-community-members/7654/143?u=pandres95) to receive a sponsorship for up to €1,600 to attend this year's Polkadot Decoded.


However, due to the conditions of the sponsorship, I must confirm my airline travel tickets or hotel reservations (or both) by this Friday, 18:59 COT, and reimbursements can be given back to me as late as 31 August!!!

In order to be able to meet the requirements to accept the sponsorship, I'd like to ask Virto to lend me these funds, so I can purchase the tickets and book the hotel. I'd be refunding them once I receive the sponsorship from their part.
