# Search Warrant Rules

1. Warrants must only be issued upon a judge/justice's independent finding of probable cause where that finding is made from a statement sworn to be true by a requesting officer.
a. any tangible evidence including pictures, videos, screenshots, or records must be authenticated within the sworn statement, and a date and approximate time of the offense certified by the officer.
b. (OR) if the venue of such request is within an active trial
c. (OR) if the crime was committed on the platform discord and the offender (on discord) has been proven to be connected to the roblox user that the warrant is requested on (while still being in compliance with rule 1. a.)

2. No judge/justice may request a search warrant unless:
a. The warrant is required immediately and it is:
i. Affirmed by one other law enforcement supervisor (Sergeant or above)
AND
ii. Affirmed by one other District Court Judge

# Arrest Warrant Rules

1. Warrants must only be issued upon a judge/justices's independent finding of probable cause where that finding is made from a statement sworn to be true by a requesting officer.
a. any tangible evidence including pictures, videos, screenshots, or records must be authenticated within the sworn statement, and a date and approximate time of the offense certified by the officer.
b. No warrant may be issued where at the time of issuance, the arrest would conflict with the New Life Rule, and a requesting officer must certify in their sworn statement that the warrant would be issued in compliance with the rule.
c. The warrant may be issued if an offence was committed over discord provided that it is proven that the discord offenders' user is connected to the roblox user being charged at the time of the offence

2. No judge/justice may request an arrest warrant, even if they are a CLEO, and are acting in capacity as a CLEO.
